Live the magic of the mambo! Mambo Legends Orchestra at the Lehman Center

In celebration of its 45th Anniversary, the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts presents the expected return of the Mambo Legends Orchestra with the Nelson González All-Star Ensemble and the Latin Nominated for Latin Grammy Lucrecia, next to the special participation of Azul González, on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 8:00 pm. The Orchestra, made up of 21 musicians and led by former members of the legendary Tito Puente Orchestra, pays tribute to the legacy of the “Big Three”: Machito, Tito Rodríguez and Tito Puente, on an unforgettable night of mambo and live Latin music.

“You always, Julita”: Puerto Rican love and poetry in Thalia Spanish Theater

Thalia Spanish Theater and Barrio Independent Productions present yours always, Julita, of the Puerto Rican playwright Roberto Ramos-Perea, with Belange Rodriguez and Bill Blechingberg, and special collaboration of charity of the valley. Directed by Amneris Morales and Iván Goris, the work explores life, legacy and intense relationship between the poet Julia de Burgos and the writer Luis Llorens Torres, addressing the challenges of women in a cultural environment dominated by men.

Celebrates the month of Hispanic inheritance at the Hispanic Society Museum & Library

Until October 15, 2025, Hispanic Society Museum & Library invites the public to enjoy a varied immersive and educational program in celebration of the month of Hispanic inheritance.

Outdoor film cycle: Every Thursday night, selected films will be screened that explore Hispanic cultures, stories and voices.

LIVE CONCERT: A special musical event that covers contemporary traditions and expressions of Hispanic heritage.

Celebration of the Day of the Dead with hand in hand: on Saturday, October 18 in Audubon Terrace, visitors can create art, paper altars and flowers of Cempasúchil, and enjoy a concert that fuses tradition and celebration.

A Collection Without Borders: works from Spain, Portugal, Latin America, Goa and the Philippines (until October 19).

Natura Extracta: Continental Ecologies & Inter-territorial Affairs: Installation of the Nicaraguan artist Oscar M. Caballero, which traces the Pan-American Highway and combines flora, urban fauna and historical narratives on migration and exploitation of resources.
