Hispanic workers continue to be the group with lower income in the United States, although in 2024 they registered a 4.9%rebound, according to the recent report published by the Census Office.
The workers of the Hispanic community reached an average income of $ 50,430 annually, which represents a growth of 4.9 % compared to the previous year, although still well below the national average ($ 63,360), according to the US income report.

Men and women
The Census Office stressed that the wage gap between men and women expanded again in 2024.
While men who work full -time all year registered a medium income of 71,090 dollars, 3.7 % more than in 2023, women in the same conditions received 57,520 dollars, which represents an advance of 1.5 % compared to the previous year.
In relative terms, women won an average of only 80.9 % of what men obtained, below 82.7 % recorded in 2023. This is the second consecutive decrease in this indicator, which measures the historical evolution of salary inequality in the United States.
With more than 60 million people in the country, the Hispanic community continues to register gradual improvements in its income, although it still faces a marked disparity compared to other ethnic groups, as well as persecution and threat of constant deportation by the president’s administration, Donald Trump.
