An undocumented immigrant of Guatemalan origin that was illegally in the United States was arrested by the Nassau County Police in Long Island, NY, and immediately delivered to the ICE agency (immigration and customs control service) for their deportation in the country.
The police authorities affirm that Josue Oliva, a resident of the Villa de Freeport, was arrested on March 27 in the town of Roosevelt for drug positions and impersonation of identity, and also found a long history of criminal record in several US states, with greater theft charges and theft with purple search that date back to 1993.
Officials of the Federal Bureau of Investigation – FBI and the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement – ICE indicate that Oliva used 16 false names, 7 birth dates and 2 numbers of foreigner registration in their files.
Oliva, 48, was accused on Thursday of positions that include illegal possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of a falsified instrument and impersonation of identity, police reported.
“We continue working with our federal partners responsible for enforcing the law to keep Nassau as the safer county in the United States,” said County Executive Bruce Blakeman, in statements collected by Patch.com.
Oliva entered the United States in 1993, that year, he was accused twice in California for the largest automobile. He was arrested twice in 1994 in Nevada for theft and theft.
