“Long Island Restaurant Week,” an award-winning culinary initiative, reaches an important milestone: 20 years connecting local restaurants with their diners.

The fall edition of the 20th anniversary of “Restaurant Week” offers exceptional culinary experiences and prix fixe menus with unmatched value for money.

Throughout the week, participating restaurants will be able to offer options such as a two-course lunch for $25, three-course dinners for $30 or 40, and/or a three-course dinner menu for $48 (And they can offer any combination of these menu options).

Food to choose from include Italian, Latin, French, Mediterranean, Asian, BBQ, Sushi, Seafood, Steakhouses, etc.

Each participating restaurant must offer at least 3 options for each course at dinner (appetizer, main course and dessert) and at lunch (appetizer and main course, or main course and dessert).

On Saturdays, the prix fixe menu will only be available until 7 pm.

Over the past two decades, Long Island Restaurant Week (LIRW) has not only supported the region’s vibrant restaurant community, but has also contributed to local society, donating more than $40,000 to Long Island food banks and charities.

One of the main beneficiaries has been The INN (Interfaith Nutrition Network), a Long Island nonprofit dedicated to helping people facing hunger, homelessness and extreme poverty. LIRW is proud to have donated over $10,000 to The INN since the inception of this initiative.

Whether discovering a new neighborhood favorite, returning to a familiar establishment, or simply enjoying a great meal at a great value, diners are invited to be a part of this celebration and toast Long Island Restaurant Week to 20 years this fall.
