The “Valenzuela Travel Agency” multi -service agency celebrates 25 years of services to the Long Island community, standing out as a firm agency, with enough experience in issues of filling taxes, immigration, sending remittances to any part of the world, translations of documents, travel agency, among other services that help our Hispanic people.
María Valenzuela and Víctor Valenzuela, tax trainers, opened this agency as a dream and entrepreneurship without thinking that they would go so far.
How is Valenzuela Travel Agency born?
– «I was a teacher in the Dominican Republic, I never thought to work with the numbers and in 2000 Valenzuela Travel Agency was born because I wanted to become independent, since I first started in this world of multiservices with my sister. We start with a computer and so far we are here helping the community ».
What does it mean for you to turn 25 serving people?
– “For me it means a lot, I have learned from the training given by the different government agencies, such as the internal Revenue Service (IRS), the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), shipping agencies, and this has helped me to provide better service to the community.”
“People with different situations are looking for an orientation and my knowledge has helped me to give them a better service and if not refer to the places where they should go, either to the Department of Social Services (DSS) or Social Security (Social Security).”
As an anecdote, what has been the best success story of Valenzuela Travel Agency?
– «There are many stories that come to our office but I remember one in particular and I reserve the name. A desperate lady came who had an immigration case where she gave everything for lost. He thought he was not going to be able to bring his relatives to the United States and then Valenzuela Travel Agency helped him, and thank God, we could solve his case, his relatives are here, who are already women and men of this society ».
Tax preparation
At the beginning of a new season for people to prepare their taxes (taxes) and comply with the Internal Tax Service (IRS), then we ask María Valenzuela:
What is the right date to report with the “Uncle Sam”?
– «We already started the time of the taxes and extends until April 15. It is a time where my husband and I attend the community in every detail. Many arrive by saying that they return to me so much but we have to see what the IRS says, which is exactly the person will receive. The agency has remained in the community for 25 years giving services honestly and we take the time to fill its taxes in the right way ».
Valenzuela Travel Agency is anniversary, it’s 25 years that are said right now. What message has for the community you want to undertake just like you?
– “I went to university to learn English and I have trained to give the best services, and my advice is that: that they prepare and study English,” emphasizes the Dominican María Valenzuela.
