The president of the United States, Donald Trump, has recorded a video that is broadcast on social networks in which undocumented immigrants urge to “self -ported” before the authorities arrested them.
Trump also invites the undocumented to use an application recently launched by the US government in which they can inform the administration to leave the country, according to the aforementioned video.
The 90 -second video, which is published on Instagram, X, YouTube and Rumble, according to the Axios portal, is part of a broader advertising campaign aimed at encouraging these immigrants to leave before the US authorities stop them.
This initiative arises at a time when the Government of Republican Donald Trump is striving to deport thousands of undocumented immigrants, but does not have enough funds, detention spaces, agents and infrastructure, adds the medium.
Given the shortage of these resources, Trump’s team has resorted to these types of messages to try to make these immigrants leave the United States or never come.
In the video, Trump warns immigrants that, if they have any hope of becoming American citizens, they must register in the application of customs and border protection and leave now.
“My administration is launching the CBP Home application to give people who are in our country without documents an easy way to leave and self -use voluntarily,” Trump explains.
