This Saturday is the breast cancer walk at the Eisenhower Park

Join Betty’s Breast Cancer Foundation to celebrate life and hope walking along with patients, survivors, family and friends while remembering those who lost their battle against breast cancer.

The Long Island community is invited to participate in the fourth annual walk “Walking Life in Pink”, this Saturday, October 4, from 9 to 11 am, at the Eisenhower Park, located in 1899 Hempstead Turnpike East Meadow, NY 11554.

This activity in honor of the month of awareness about breast cancer is carried out “it rains or thunder (with rain or sun) and the registration of participants begins at 8 in the morning.

Betty’s Breast Cancer Foundation is directed by its founder, the Colombian Immigrant Betty Rodrígueza former survivor of breast cancer and outstanding community leader in Long Island, New York, working as a volunteer with the most vulnerable communities, promoting education and prevention of breast cancer when driving trucks that offer mammograms on the street totally free to promote early detection.
