Nassau Seth I. Koslow County legislator is associated with the Freeport Memorial Library, the Merrick Library and the North Merick Public Library to organize its second annual collection of school supplies for return to classes, in order to ensure that local students have everything necessary for an excellent start of the 2025-26 school year.
From Monday, July 14 to Monday, August 18, during the usual care hours, in each of these locations, donors can deliver the necessary school supplies, including, among others, backpacks, folders, spiral and marble notebook Highlights, drafts, markers, glue bars, lunchboxes, chips, rules, security scissors and more.
“As a father of young children who will return to school in a few months, I know how important it is for all Nassau County children to have everything you need to excel in the classroom,” said legislator Koslow, a Democrat by Merrick.
“The growing cost of school supplies continues to affect family budgets throughout our region, and that is why I am especially grateful to collaborate once again with Freeport, Merrick and North Merrick libraries to contribute to each student from beginning the school year with confidence and prepared to achieve their maximum potential,” he said.
