The suspense has new faces: Litzy and David Chocarro in double betrayal

Nothing is what it seems and nobody says the whole truth. In double betrayal, the new original cinnamon.TV production, appearances deceive, loyalties change and the danger stalks from where they are least expected. Litzy plays two twin sisters separated by fate, and David collided to a man with a plan as intelligent as disturbing. Together, they star in a thriller full of tension, secrets and unexpected twists that explores the limits of trust, the power of identity and the struggle to survive.

The film, produced in collaboration with Panamax Films, marks a milestone in the career of both actors. Litzy faces the greatest acting challenge of his career when interpreting two completely different characters, while Chocarro immerses himself in the minds of a bright manipulator. What happens when these three characters (yes, three) cross roads, is a storm of emotions, betrayals and decisions that will keep the spectator to the edge of the seat.

Double betrayal

In conversation with the interview, Litzy and David shared how it was to work together for the first time, what caught them from this script and what were the biggest challenges of filming. From dangerous aquatic scenes to the construction of a chemistry so strong that it allowed to play with distrust on the screen, both actors were completely given to a story that promises to become one of the favorites of the year for suspense lovers.

Next, the protagonists tell us in their own words how they lived this intense, challenging and deeply cinematographic experience.

What can ahead us about their characters in double treason?

David: It is a very meticulous job, very careful, it is wonderful. My character from Jacobo, Karla’s husband, one of the twins that Litzy does, is fascinating because he is a guy who has a lot of clarity and knows very well what he wants. It is very intelligent but very manipulative, and with very dark plans.

Litzy: On this occasion I play these twins who do not know each other and have had completely different life stories. At the moment they are in this story, obviously, many unexpected things happen. There is a lot of intrigue, suspense and David’s character has a lot to do with what is happening.

What attracted them to this script and why did they decide to accept these papers?

Litzy: Since I read the script, it fascinated me. It seemed incredible and a very interesting challenge for my career and at the time I am. Having the opportunity not to be pigeon and make a double character enjoyed it a lot. Also from the moment I knew that I was David, I knew I had to do it.

David: For me the amount of money they paid to us (laughs). How to say no, the script is spectacular. And as they told me apparently Litzy and the second calls me Litzy and it was spectacular.

How did chemistry build among their characters, especially in a story where trust is so fragile?

Litzy: I think that having that confidence with David helped us to commit ourselves in each scene. That helped a lot to have confidence to create distrust in the movie. Because there is betrayal for everything it gives.

The film revolves around secrets, deceptions and survival. How was it immersed in such an intense story?

David: It was very fun. The more curled the stories and darker the characters, one has fun. Here was no exception. It was a beautiful trip.

Was there any particularly challenging scene to remember?

Litzy: Yeah! I think David is going to coincide with me, we had aquatic scenes that were very complex. At first we were very funny, but the truth was complicated. I did scared in a moment and I left the ring of the ring with my hair on my face. I started drowning in a moment.

Do they have plans to collaborate in the future?

David: In the second part (laughs).
