Help Long Island overcome the recent blood shortage emergency by becoming a donor during the summer drive hosted by New York State Senator Monica R. Martinez on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This blood drive will be conducted in collaboration with the New York Blood Center and will operate at the state office building located at 250 Veterans Memorial Highway in Hauppauge. (The New York Blood Center Bus – New York State Office Building, at 250 Veterans Memorial Highway, Hauppauge, NY 11788).
As a thank you for your commitment to saving lives, all donors will receive 2 tickets to a Mets game via email one week after the campaign.
“With the region’s blood reserves at low levels, now is not the time to hesitate when it comes to becoming a donor,” said Senator Martínez. “We need our best hitters to step forward. Please be the most valuable player (MVP) to help us overcome this emergency,” remarked the Salvadoran heritage official.
