The prekinder students of the Northeast Elementary School Primary School of Amyville, paid a tribute to the moms, in the celebration of the “annual tea of the Mother’s Day” carried out on May 9.
The gym of this Long Island educational center was especially decorated for the occasion with works of students and an allusive banner created by each class.
The director of Northeast Elementary School, Dr. Pauline Collins, welcomed all the mothers who attended the event, while the little students and teachers took a moment to celebrate everything they do.
It should be noted that pre -Kindergarten students dressed elegantly and sang songs on the “Mother’s Day” for the special women of their lives.
Then, they sat at their tables decorated with special crafts that they created to enjoy tea, juice and cookies that were served.
