Peruvian cinema first arrives at Long Island

On February 27, Filmed in Peru and the Peruvian American Chamber of Commerce Alliance (PACCA) made a successful press conference at the Candela Restaurant located in Hicksville, New York, where an unprecedented event for the Peruvian community in Long Island was officially announced.

After his successful career in the cities of Miami and New York, Filmed in Peru continues its expansion, and this time, by the hand of Pacca, it has managed to bring Peruvian cinema to the Long Island area for the first time.

The presentation not only highlighted the richness of the film talent of Peru, but also marked the beginning of new opportunities for Peruvian culture in the region.

On April 13, the Arts Center Theater in Huntington will be the scene of a great cultural and cinematographic celebration. For the first time in the United States, three films filmed in Peru will be screened, highlighting the country’s talent and artistic wealth.

In addition to cinema, attendees can enjoy a true cultural party with typical dances, Peruvian cuisine and many other surprises that will make this day an unforgettable experience.

This collaboration represents a significant step in the promotion of Peruvian art and identity, consolidating Long Island as a new space for the dissemination of our cinematography.
