New York will vibrate with Puerto Rican pride with Daddy Yankee, Dayanara Torres and Anthony Ramos at the 69th National Puerto Rican Parade

Fifth Avenue will once again become the heart of Puerto Rico this Sunday, June 14, when thousands of people gather in Manhattan to celebrate the 69th National Puerto Rican Parade, a party full of music, emotion, pride and culture that promises to be unforgettable.

With the powerful motto “We Are More Than 100×35,” the 2026 edition will celebrate the immense impact that Puerto Ricans have left on the world, from music and entertainment to politics, sports and business. The message highlights that, although Puerto Rico measures just 100 by 35 miles, the talent, influence and contributions of Puerto Ricans have no limits and continue to leave their mark around the world. Organizers say this year will be one of the most exciting and significant celebrations in the history of the parade.

Headlining the big party will be Daddy Yankee as Grand Marshal. The global reggaeton icon, responsible for opening international doors to Latin urban music with hits like “Gasolina”, “Despacito” and “Con Calma”, will arrive in New York to celebrate with his people in a historic moment that no fan will want to miss.

The excitement will continue with Dayanara Torres as Queen of the Parade. The former Miss Universe and beloved Puerto Rican presenter will return to Fifth Avenue to represent elegance, resilience and Puerto Rican pride in front of thousands of attendees.

Actor and singer Anthony Ramos will also be present as King of the Parade. The artist, who conquered Broadway and Hollywood, will join a celebration that will bring together entire generations of Puerto Ricans and Latinos in an explosion of joy and tradition.

The parade will travel down Fifth Avenue between 44th and 79th streets in Manhattan and expects to receive close to a million people. From early in the morning, the streets will be filled with flags, live music, floats, dances, guest artists and entire families ready to celebrate their roots.

In addition to the big stars, the event will recognize prominent figures in the Puerto Rican community, including Congresswoman Nydia Velázquez, musician Charlie Sepúlveda, chef Iván Clemente and champions José and Irad Ortiz, among many other honorees.

This year will also pay special tribute to the Municipality of Vega Baja and the state of New Jersey for their important link with the Puerto Rican community.

Those who cannot attend in person will be able to enjoy the live broadcast on WABC Channel 7 from 12:00 pm EDT and via streaming on abc7NY.com, in addition to platforms such as Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Hulu + Live TV.

Organizers invite the public to arrive early, wear the colors of Puerto Rico and be part of a historic celebration that promises to fill New York with Puerto Rican pride, nostalgia and joy.
