«We thank Mrs. Quichimbo and the seven Latin companies, since her support marks an important evolution of our program. Since the beginning of our fund in 2019, our intention was to create a program that supported the student and his family in the most complete way possible, ”says Minerva Pérez, Ola Executive Director.

«Now that we have created a successful process and structure, we turn to our Latin companies and the members of the Latin community to expand this fund. With the union of Latin business leaders, we can take advantage of our collective power to achieve a lasting impact. This is just the beginning, ”said Pérez.

“Education is the most powerful tool that one can lead to any space or situation,” says Yesenia Quichimbo, Ecuadorian and proud graduated from the East Hampton high school, who has been fundamental in the launch of this initiative that expands the existing wave scholarship fund.

«This background is not only scholarships, but about building a legacy of opportunities, leadership and faith in our youth. Latin Youth faces disproportionate challenges, particularly limited access to capital. This fund directly addresses that gap with community -driven solutions, ”Quichimbo continued.
