“Gazillion Bubble Show” extends performances until September

New York family phenomenon Gazillion Bubble Show continues its season at New World Stages, announcing a new block of tickets available through September 2026.
The show, created by the Yang family, celebrates almost 20 years of success with a theatrical experience full of giant bubbles, light effects, lasers and interactive moments that have made the production a favorite of family audiences in the city. Running 65 minutes without intermission, the show remains an ideal introduction to theater for children and families, combining science, art and visual entertainment on a single stage.
Free Fridays at the Whitney Museum of American Art
April 17 and 24, 2026 – 5 PM to 10 PM
The Whitney Museum of American Art invites the public to experience two can’t-miss Free Friday Nights, where contemporary art, live music and community engagement blend into an experience open to all.
On Friday, April 17, in collaboration with Brooklyn-based Public Records, the museum presents an evening of live music with Samer Ghadry and Laraaji, plus a voguing class by Luz “The Odyssey” Guzman. Teens will also be able to participate in Open Studio for Teens, a creative space inspired by artists from the 2026 Whitney Biennial.
On Friday, April 24, the Open Studio for Teens returns with an offering focused on the exploration of natural pigments and compositions inspired by artist Johanna Unzueta, followed by access to the museum’s free programming, featuring views, art and music in the heart of Manhattan.
Additionally, throughout April, the Whitney is offering free exhibition tours and special activities as part of its Free Friday Nights and Free Second Sundays programs, reaffirming its commitment to access to contemporary art in the city.

Country Western Musical “THREE WOMEN” Premieres in New York
From April 16 to May 3, 2026 – 8 PM and 3 PM (Sundays)
The world premiere of THREE WOMEN comes to Theater for the New City with a new production that brings the sound of Nashville to the East Village.
This country western musical follows the story of Billy, a star who returns home after a national tour and faces the collapse of his personal life amid secrets, love and betrayal. Between his wife Bonnie, the enigmatic Lady and the freewheeling Ruby, the plot explores intense human relationships with a touch of humor and an original soundtrack inspired by classic country.
The production will have performances from Thursday to Saturday at 8:00 pm and Sundays at 3:00 pm, with a season from April 16 to May 3.
