In the midst of a pleasant and delicious atmosphere, Ceviche Day New York 2026 took place, celebrated on Sunday, June 28 aboard the Sapphire Princess cruise ship in Freeport, Long Island, NY.
This special event was proudly presented thanks to the collaboration between the Peruvian American Chamber of Commerce Alliance (PACCA) and Perú in Boston, bringing the community together to celebrate Peru’s flagship dish and highlight its rich culture, gastronomy, entrepreneurial spirit and the strong ties within our community.
Attendees enjoyed an afternoon that included:
– Tastings by talented Peruvian chefs and restaurants.
– Cultural presentations and entertainment.
– Networking opportunities between businesspeople, community leaders, elected officials, diplomats and collaborators.
– Recognition of the importance of Peruvian cuisine as a bridge between cultures.
Distinguished guests attended the celebration of Ceviche Day New York 2026, including the Consul General of Peru in New York, Oswaldo del Aguila; the Consul General of El Salvador, Miguel Murgas; and consular representatives of Chile.
Also attended were government officials, business leaders, chambers of commerce, community organizations, beauty queens, models, sponsors, members and many friends who made the meeting unforgettable.
This event reflects the ongoing mission of the Peruvian American Chamber of Commerce Alliance – PACCA to promote Peruvian culture, support entrepreneurs and businesses, create meaningful alliances, and strengthen the relationship between the Peruvian-American community and the greater New York region.
The event organizers and PACCA, led by its founding president Shermelee Carrasco, thank everyone who supported the successful New York Ceviche Day 2026 and for helping spread the positive impact of our community and the continued growth of this annual celebration.
