After an exciting night of celebration, the orange and blue colors of the New York Knicks mixed with the red, white and blue of the Puerto Rican flag. Along the parade route, attendees waved banners that proudly combined both symbols, reflecting both cultural pride and support for the home team.

The parade started at 44th Street and Madison Avenue and included the participation of the Mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani; Governor Kathy Hochul; public defender Jumaane Williams; several elected officials and the grand marshal, music icon Daddy Yankee.
Despite the summer heat, spectators and participants danced through the streets to celebrate Puerto Rican heritage, resilience and culture in one of the city’s most vibrant annual traditions.
The salsa rhythms and the cheers of the public echoed along Fifth Avenue, where the parade culminated at 79th Street.
