The Great Neck Library presents a Lunar New Year musical performance by Chinese artists Zhou Yi and Yimin Miao of the Ba Ban Chinese Music Society.
The program includes traditional Chinese music performed with instruments such as the dizi (a bamboo flute), the pipa (a plucked string lute), gongs and Chinese drums.
The presentation highlights traditions associated with historical and regional influences, including music inspired by the Silk Road and the Yangtze River.
Doors will open at 1:45 pm. No prior registration is required.
