In October commemoration, the “month of awareness of breast cancer” in Nassau County and throughout the United States, legislator Carrié Solages, joins the assemblyman Michaelle Solages and the state support program of support and direct line for the Adelphi Ny’s breast cancer to organize the annual “walk/race/roll” (“Walk/Run/Run/Run In memory of Dr. Elsy Mecklembourg-Guibert against breast cancer.
This event will be carried out at Arthur J. Hendrickson Park (123 W. Merrick Road, Valley Stream, NY 11580) on Sunday, October 5, from 3 to 5 pm. Participants will honor survivors, encourage those who are in treatment and remember the lives lost by breast cancer.
“Dr. Elsy Mecklembourg-Guibert was a community leader who inspired many people to step forward, contribute and commit to helping others,” said legislator Solages (D-Valley Stream).
“His passion for promoting health and awareness about cancer was incomparable, and celebrating this event during the month of awareness about breast cancer is a tribute to his career … Unique us to create awareness and support this mission that saves lives!”, He said.

This solidarity event will take place with rain or sun. There is a free parking available in Arthur J. Hendrickson Park.
The total distance of the “Walk/Run/Roll” is 1.5 miles per lap (2.4 km). The organizers urge participants to deal with Rosa to show their support for this noble cause.
