Northeast Elementary School in Amityville was filled with laughter, excitement, and the soft pitter-patter of little feet as the beloved “Easter Bunny” made a special visit to the youngest students of this Long Island, NY school district.
On March 31, preschool and kindergarten students had the magical opportunity to meet and greet the “Easter Bunny,” exchanging high fives, warm hugs, and lots of smiles.
The celebration included an Easter-themed breakfast and a fun Easter egg hunt, giving students the opportunity to search for colorful eggs and enjoy sweet treats.
The teachers joined in the festive fun, wearing playful bunny ears with their students, while many little ones proudly wore their own ears, jumping to the beat of the Easter excitement.
This annual visit is a long-awaited tradition at Northeast Elementary School, bringing joy, laughter, and a touch of spring magic to the school community. It’s a touching reminder of the special moments that make early childhood education so memorable.
