“Somos Más” premiered live for the first time during the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards, electrifying audiences with its infectious rhythms and inspiring lyrics.
Created as the official soundtrack to Telemundo’s most ambitious and comprehensive presentation of the tournament to date, the song expresses the passion, diversity and excitement that soccer awakens in communities around the world.
The first collaboration between these four award-winning artists is a celebration of the most-watched sporting event on the planet. Below, they share their impressions about the project:
– Carlos Vives: «We set out to create a song that truly represented us all: the three host countries and the generations united by football. By fusing Wisin’s energy, Emilia’s style and Xavi’s fresh sound, ‘Somos Más’ celebrates our shared roots, our languages and music’s unique ability to unite us.”
– Emilia: «This project represents a dream come true. “It is an honor to represent our Latin community and collaborate with such inspiring artists on a song that celebrates our passion, our culture and togetherness.”
– Wisin: «This song is more than music: it is a message that crosses borders. Each of us represents our own origin, but unity and respect are what truly connect us. “I am honored to be part of a project that highlights the power of music to unite us.”
– Xavi: «This project is special because it unites music and sport, two universal languages that connect us. “I’m excited to share our anthem with fans around the world and celebrate the unique energy of the game.”
