The Edmund W. Miles Middle School students, located in A Amityville, met with various professionals during the “Professional career day” event (“Career Day”) held on Friday, March 21.
Members of the National Youth Honor Society guided the guests by different classrooms of the building during this motivational activity.
Some of the guests were alumni of this intermediate school and talked about the lessons learned during their years in the Amityville school district.
The “Career Day” of Edmund W. Miles Middle School had a wide range of speakers, including police, politicians, data analysts, educators and health professionals.
The school district thanked all the guests who took the time to share their careers with the students of this intermediate school in Long Island.
