Sofia Rei and the feminine power in noisy Fest Nyc in Lincoln Center

On Saturday, August 9, Lincoln Center will be filled with female energy, music and empowerment with the second edition of noisy Fest Nyc, the first festival completely led by women in Latin America that returns as part of Summer for the City.

In this vibrant event, the talented Argentine singer and songwriter Sofía Rei will be presented at 6 pm with a unique show that will include only original music, played next to its eclectic band composed of JC Maillard (electric guitar, low, laptop and voice), Samuel Torres (percussion), Camila Cortina (keyboards and synthesizers), Juana Luna (vocals) Carolina Oliveros in voices.

But the festival begins much earlier, at 4 pm, and will have a powerful lineup of Latin artists who have conquered different genres and countries. Among them will be the Mexican-American rapper Snow Tha Product, the Chilean MC Millaray, the Dominican J NOA, the Italo-Dominican singer Yendry, the star of Dream Pop business of (of Honduran-American descent), the Dominican-American singer-songwriter Pamé, and of course, the versatile Sofía Rei, which moves between the Art-pop and jazz with a unique and authentic proposal.

Routed, which means “making noise” or “roaring” in female, is an independent and feminist platform that stands out for combining pop culture with the defense and promotion of voices of women and people who identify as such. This festival in alliance with Lincoln Center is a celebration of creativity, community and Latin power in the music and professional industry.

In addition to the live presentations, the day will be full of panels of the music industry and will end with a Silent Night disc, in charge of the Argentine DJ Tayhana.
