Three companies from Suffolk County, Long Island, have received “Empire Awards” from New York State Senator Monica R. Martínez.
The companies, all located within the Fourth Senate District, are:
– Dulce de Leche Bakerylocated at 346 N. Windsor Ave., Brightwaters;
– Izalco Delilocated at 1558 Brentwood Road, Bay Shore; and
– Moloney Family Funeral Homeswhich has seven branches, including Central Islip and Hauppauge.
“These honorees represent the best of New York’s small businesses, driving local economic growth and contributing to the neighborhoods they serve,” said Senator Martinez. “We thank you for your commitment to our community and the attention, quality and dedication you provide to your customers and neighbors every day,” he added.
The New York State Senate’s Empire Awards recognize local businesses for their dedication to customers, employees and the communities they serve. The award recognizes companies that contribute to local growth and community well-being throughout the state.
“Starting a business is never easy. It means betting your future on an idea, overcoming uncertainty and believing that what you build can last. In New York, we honor those who pursue their ambitions and do so in a way that improves our state,” concluded Senator Martínez, of Salvadoran origin.
