Families know that they can trust charter schools to help their children succeed ».

Registration data also reflect the diverse composition of the students of these institutions. In the 281 charter schools, 46% of the students are black and 43% are Hispanics.
The new data is published just before the “Open Door Month of Chárter Schools”, an initiative that will take place in the coming weeks. This event, organized by the New York City Charter school center, aims to help families learn more about the available options.
