Organize Emergency Preparation Workshop at the Sea Cliff Fire Department

The leader of the minority of the Nassau County Legislature, Delia Deriggi-Whitton (D-Glen Cove), announces that the New York State Preparation Corps will visit the Sea Cliff’s Fire Department, in Long Island, to carry out a “emergency preparation workshop” on Thursday, July 31, at 7 pm. (67 Roslyn Avenue, be it Cliff, NY 11579).

The event is designed to provide residents with the tools and resources necessary to prepare for any type of disaster, whether natural or caused by man, respond properly and recover as quickly as possible to the conditions prior to disaster.

Each participating family will receive a response start kit from the citizen preparation with essential emergencies, such as a radio, a flashlight, batteries, fresh water packages, food packages, resistant gloves, a canvas, an emergency blanket, a water container, a light bar and a whistle.
