Mulé and Koslow legislators highlight art exhibition of the month of Hispanic inheritance in Freeport

The substitute vice -minority of the Nassau County Legislature, Debra Mulé, and legislator Seth I. Koslow, attended the great inauguration of the art exhibition in honor of the “month of the Hispanic heritage” organized by the Long Island Arts Council in the Freeport recreational center.

During the event held on Thursday, September 18, both Mulé and Koslow congratulated the Watercolor Artist Jefte Valle, resident of Elmont, who is the former exhibition presenter “The Art Alcove” in the aforementioned Recreation Center.

“Every day, the Hispanic communities of Nassau County make enormous contributions to our commercial districts, our culture and our entire society,” said Mulé legislator.

“Thanks to Jefte for sharing his talent with our community and Long Island Arts Council for leading this exhibition at the Freeport Recreation Center,” added the Democratic official representative of the Villa de Freeport.

“The month of Hispanic inheritance is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the vitality and resilience of the diverse cultures that enrich the framework of our nation,” said Koslow legislator.

“This exhibition and the personal trajectory of Jefte perfectly embody the spirit of this commemoration, and it was a pleasure to accompany him at the inauguration of his exhibition at the Freeport Recreation Center,” added the democratic official representative of the people of Merrick.

The “month of Hispanic inheritance” is commemorated in the United States from September 15 to October 15 to highlight the culture, achievements and contributions of the growing Spanish -American population in the country, both of the immigrants arrived in recent decades and their respective descendants born in US territory.
