Spanish opera in Manhattan with Real Theater: Crescendo

This October 5, All Souls NYC is filled with opera with the debut in the city of four young voices of the Real Theater in Madrid, one of the most important opera houses in the world. In Theater Real: Crescendo, these emerging talents will present classical Arias in an intimate concert next to the Viva Ny Music Choir, at the beginning of an international collaboration that promises to cross borders and emotions.

The renowned Venezuelan dancer Siaudy Garrido celebrates 25 years of career with the premiere in New York of Bailaora: This is my voice, a proposal that breaks schemes when fusing the flamenco tradition with contemporary sounds and the strength of Latin immigration.

Awarded in her native country and nominated for Latin Grammy® and drama Desk Award in New York, Garrido has established himself as an innovative flamenco beyond the borders of Spain. In this work, the zapateado becomes his own creative voice, in dialogue with traditional and modern instruments that give life to a vibrant and borders show.
