Suffolk County Legislator, Rebecca Sanin, recently visited the North Middle School located in Brentwood to deliver more than 100 folders (BIDERS) to the students, ensuring that they have the necessary tools for a successful school year.
This initiative, held on March 5 in collaboration with the Justice League, reaffirms the commitment of the legislator Sanin with the support of the students, educators and families of the community.
“It was an incredible morning in North Middle School, where the dedication of educators and staff creates an environment in which students can prosper,” said Sanin, representative of the legislative district 16.
“Every child deserves access to the resources it needs to achieve success, and I am proud to associate with extraordinary organizations such as Justice League to make it possible,” he exclaimed.
For his part, Marc Soto, director of the Liga de Justicia Foundation, said, “to be able to collaborate in the distribution of folders was a very emotional experience for me because we had the opportunity to meet and help children achieve academic excellence. Our youth is inspiring, incredible and full of joy and love ».
«Both the Foundation Justice League and I value our young people and their families, and believe in their enormous potential. We do what we do because we are committed to making a difference and love our community. When we collaborate with incredible leaders such as the Legislator Sanin and our school districts, we show the world the power of collaboration and service ».
The legislator Sanin expressed her deep thanks to the school counselor Jen Torres, the director Elias Mestizo and the deputy director John Shanley, whose commitment to student welfare makes the North Middle School an exceptional place for learning and growth in Long Island.
This effort is part of the continuous work of the legislator Sanin to promote educational equity in Suffolk County, ensuring that students have the necessary supplies and opportunities to excel in the classroom and beyond.
