After the completion of the group phase of the Gold Cup Concacaf 2025, the 8 national teams that advance to the direct elimination phase have been confirmed, together with the calendar of matches and the headquarters designated for the quarterfinals, the semifinals and the final.
This decisive stage of the golden contest will take place between June 28 and July 6, beginning with the quarterfinals on Saturday 28 and Sunday, June 29 at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ; and in the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN, respectively.

Then the semifinal commitments will arrive on Wednesday, July 2 in Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA, and the Energizer Park in St. Louis, MO.
And everything culminates with the grand final of the golden tournament planned for Sunday, July 6 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
The 8 countries that have been classified for the direct elimination phase, as first and second of each group, are:
– Group A: 1st. Mexico, 2nd. Costa Rica
– Group B: 1st. Canada, 2nd. Honduras
– Group C: 1st. Panama, 2nd. Guatemala
– Group D: 1st. United States, 2nd. Saudi Arabia
The Mexican National Team, defender of the title, came from less to more in this Gold Cup, surpassing the Dominican Republic in its first game (3-2) and then imposing itself with much effort to Surinam (2-0) in its second commitment.
The “tricolor” then ended up matching with a firm Costa Rica (0-0) in his third meeting of the group where his actions improved, he was more associative and offensive but lacked definition against the remarkable “Tico” goalkeeper Keylor Navas, the best goalkeeper in the history of Concacaf.

Quarter finals

In addition to Mexico, the selections of Panama, Canada and the United States leave as clear favorites to overcome their rivals and advance the “semis.”

Semifinals
The winning countries of clashes 2 and 3 of the quarterfinals will face them in the semifinals to be played in Santa Clara, while the winners of clashes 1 and 4 of 4th. They will compete in St. Louis for a place in the final of the “Gold Cup 2025”.
