Energy, opportunities and learning: This was the Latin College Expo & Leadership Summit 2025

On March 22, 2025, the 32nd Latino College Expo & Leadership Summit was carried out with great success at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, gathering almost 400 recorded assistants. More than 50 universities and community organizations were present, offering valuable opportunities for students, parents and counselors. Throughout the day, seminars were offered that addressed crucial issues, such as financial aid, scholarships, the admissions process, sports and military careers, and the exploration of different professional options.

Attendees shared very positive comments, highlighting the importance of the event: “This was an incredible event that is needed in our communities,” said one of the participants. Others said: “Thank you for organizing this event again” and “we enjoyed the seminars and learned about financial aid and the process of admission to the university.” The athletes also benefited from the talks, as one of them expressed: “I learned a lot about the difference between divisions I, II and III, and what each division requires.”

The atmosphere in the event was unique, with an energy that attendees stressed: “Energy in the LCE is so different from other fairs, and that is why we enjoy participating so much.” Hospitality was also a strong point, and food is never lacking, being a real success among the participants.
