The deputy director Gleni Peña welcomed the attendees to the historical meeting and invited the president of the Senior class, Arianna Molina, to go to her teammates. By thanking all those who have helped her achieve her success on her way to graduation, she reflected on the dedication of each of her classmates. “This is just the beginning and that this achievement is the first step towards many more successful events in their lives,” he said.
Then, the Interim Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Alice Kane, went to class 2025 with wise words while preparing for the next stage of their educational path. «We are all very proud of you and we know that they will advance towards an even greater success. It is important to succeed, but they also consider that it is even more important to be significant, ”he said.
«To live a significant life, grant yourself to generate a positive impact, focus on your unique strengths and never stop learning and grow. This implies finding its purpose and acting constantly to achieve their goals. In short, being significant is to provide value to others and live a life that aligns with its fundamental values. Give yourself in the impact they generate, not only in the results they obtain, ”he stressed to students.

Dr. Kane continued: «The positive mentality, faith in oneself, is what will promote you to achieve transcendence in your life and that of others. Remember that your values and integrity are fundamental to define as a person. One of your most precious possessions is your integrity. Never compromise it. Be an example to follow, choosing the highest path when others do not. And most importantly, prioritize well -being. Do not postpone joy.
«Enjoy every magical moment. This is your time to grow and shine, be brave and bold. Class 2025, are extraordinary, unique and we are very proud of you. Congratulations on your graduation!

Next, the director of the Freeport High School, Giselle Campbell-Ham, went to the last year students. «You are here, you did it! This is not just something to celebrate, it is something that you must carry with you as a reminder that you can achieve anything that you propose. Whatever your path, your life has a purpose and you have an impact on the people you know ».
«To the Graduate, remember that you have a legacy with you. A legacy built on hope and faith in yourself. You are the future. You are Freeport. You were formed with determination, grace and greatness, and the world awaits the impact that only you can generate, ”he said.

For its part, Oluwadamiloju Popoola, the student “Salutatorian” of the last year of the 2025 class, reflected on her time in high school.
«Class 2025 of the Freeport High School, we succeed. Not alone, but thanks to love, faith and unconditional support that helped us on the way. Congratulations!””.
Next, the outstanding student of the last year «Valecorian», Lourdes Saunders-Blake, addressed his fellow Seniors.
«By leaving this stage of life, we can face many emotions, so when they are sad to leave their friends and this stage, remember that those feelings are the immense love for people and the experiences that made their years significant and impressive. Go and develop your best version! They do not deserve less. Thanks to class 2025 for this wonderful path and congratulations! We succeeded!

It should be noted that at the meeting the members of class 2025 received their diplomas and, while each student walked along the stage, the applause and cheers filled the enclosure.
«Today we celebrate them, their hard work, their dedication and their determination to overcome everything that life has put them. They succeeded and, although today marks the end of a chapter, it is also the beginning of a much bigger story, ”said Deputy Director Gleni Peña addressing high school graduate students.
«The only thing that will always drive you to grow is your willingness to learn. Be a student of life: keep curiosity, read more, ask many questions and try things, even if you fail. As you advance, make the right decisions, not the easy ones ».
«Life can change in an instant, so celebrate the present, love deeply and don’t give anything for granted. Now it’s your time, enjoy it. You are the future and you have the power to change your family, your community and, yes, to the world. Don’t wait for permission, come out and make it come true, ”he emphasized.

And finally the time came that all the last year students had been waiting: Class 2025 received the instruction to change their tassels, marking their official transition of students of the Freeport High School to proud alumni.
