“If I’m leaving” is a ballad with a deep message about the desire to be valued. How was the inspiration for this song was born?

The song was born at a time where it was not sure if to continue the relationship because I felt it was not reciprocal. It was the indecision of staying or leaving, and if I left, also the illusion that te-nia in the relationship. He was born when I was questioning.

This simple marks a new stage in your career. How would you describe your evolution since you started until now?

A much learning process where I have been finding myself as an artist. I have taken time-to find what I want to do and say. Now I feel as safer and more than who I am, as a singer and as an artist.

The ballad is still a very dear genre, but it has evolved over time. How do you connect with the current public without losing the essence of the genre?

Being honest with me. I grew up singing many ballads and it is what I like to do the most and what is most natural for me. I think that the public shows it and feel when someone is authentic with who it is. For my authentic being in music is to sing this type of lyrics and melo. When people come from an honest place, people feel it, and it is the best way to connect.

Your success began on digital platforms, reaching more than 75 million views. When did you feel that you were ready to take the next step in the music industry?

It was when I began to collaborate with other people and to realize how many things worked. When I gradually started writing my songs, but especially when I was proud of the songs I was doing. It took me years to create songs from which I did not proudly and say now I am ready to share.

Luis Barrera Jr., who has worked with artists such as Maluma and Becky G, has been part of this new stage. How has it been to work with him and what has contributed to your sound?

Working with him has been very beautiful, he is a great human being and I have learned a lot from the humility he has being at the level that is in the industry. I admire his work very much. He is a super talented musician and makes the songs sound incredible.

Simpler and I hope to finish the album before the end of the year, but for the time being this month we get a second single and finish the album.
