Vívelo LI: Sale of native plants and environmental fair

The Long Island Native Plant Initiative (LINPI) will hold its Native Plant Sale and Environmental Fair on Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, at the Sisters of St. Joseph of Brentwood.
At this family-friendly event, visitors will be able to purchase locally grown native plants, such as wildflowers, grasses and shrubs, as well as learn about environmental organizations and talk to experts about pollinators, birds, wildlife and gardening.
This “LINPI Native Plant Sale & Environmental Fair” activity will feature experts from the Atlantic Marine Conservation Society, Group for the East End, South Shore Audubon Society, Suffolk Alliance for Pollinators.
Likewise, with Long Island Invasive Species Management Area, ReWild Long Island, Brentwood Public Library, the Hofstra University Bird Sanctuary and sustainability students, among many other organizations.
