Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis recently joined the community to proudly celebrate Hempstead High School’s graduating class of 2026.
During the ceremony held on June 26, Davis had the privilege of honoring Melva Ramírez Zavala, who obtained the prestigious Gates Scholarship and will pursue nursing studies at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC
«Four years of hard work, creativity and determination brought the students of Hempstead High School to this wonderful moment; and the best thing is that their stories are just beginning,” said legislator Davis.
“It is always a joy to accompany the students of my former school as they celebrate this milestone and look to a bright future!” emphasized the Democratic official elected from Rockville Centre, on Long Island, NY.
