Brentwood’s youngest students jump, compete and cheer on “Field Day”

With the warmer and more pleasant temperatures appearing in our area, there is nothing better than enjoying the outdoors while doing various physical and entertainment activities.

Recently, Brentwood’s youngest students jumped, competed and cheered under sunny skies.

Students at Pine Park Elementary School traded their classrooms for sunshine, games and lots of laughter during the annual Field Day celebration held on Tuesday, May 19 at the Long Island school.

Wearing matching “Pine Park Rocks” t-shirts, students rotated through obstacle courses, basketball activities and outdoor challenges designed to foster teamwork, physical activity and school spirit.

From relay races to dribbling drills, the day was full of energy, with students cheering each other on and enjoying time together outside of the classrooms.

It should be noted that the teaching staff and families joined the initiative to help turn the event into a memorable end-of-year tradition for the Pine Park Elementary community, part of the Brentwood Independent School District.
