The event will feature two separate launches, live music, family activities, art, games and interactive experiences along the pedestrian street between Front Street and Water Street. Attendees will also have access to special entertainment, photobooths, a gastronomic area and prizes within the event’s exclusive raffles.
Tickets include a souvenir elephant, guaranteed access to the viewing area and participation in raffles with high-value prizes. All proceeds will benefit PS307 Elementary and The Dock Street Middle School in Brooklyn.
Soledad López stars in “Poncia” at Thalía Spanish Theater
From May 15 to June 7, 2026
Fridays and Saturdays, 8:00 PM | Sundays, 4:00 PM
The Thalía Spanish Theater presents the award-winning Spanish actress Soledad López in the play “Poncia”, written by the renowned Spanish playwright Luis Luque, in a production, design and direction by Ángel Gil Orrios.
The piece is inspired by the universe of “The House of Bernarda Alba” by Federico García Lorca, centered on Poncia, the maid who observes family conflicts from within. From his perspective, the work addresses themes such as suicide, freedom, guilt, social class, education and desire, giving voice to a historically silenced character and rereading his story for contemporary audiences.
This production is presented as a tribute to Federico García Lorca (1898–1936) on the 90th anniversary of his death.
