“Everyone’s skin.” The United States soccer team, host of the next World Cup along with Mexico and Canada, debuted the shirts that the team led by Argentine Mauricio Pochettino will wear this summer in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Designed by Nike in collaboration with several players from the US national team who gave their opinion on the design, the new uniforms have a version called ‘Stars’, dark in color, and one called ‘Bars’, in light, white and red.
One of the novelties of the new uniforms is that they will be used by the 27 American teams of all categories.
The shirt will have its official debut at the end of March in Atlanta, as the country prepares to host the 2026 World Cup. On March 28, Pochettino’s team will play a friendly at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta against Belgium.
“For the first time, the design of the uniforms unifies all national teams under a common visual identity, connecting players from the youth categories to the senior teams with the same crest and shared design,” reads the statement from the US Federation.
“A national team jersey represents the pride of wearing the crest, not only for the players on the field, but also for the fans who support them every step of the way,” said Dave Wright, US Soccer Chief Commercial Officer.
“With the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaching the United States, we are excited to see players from our 27 national teams and fans across the country wearing this uniform as we head into an incredible moment for soccer,” he added.
So the USA jerseys incorporate Nike’s latest performance innovations, including Aero-FIT technology, designed to offer lightness, breathability, mobility and comfort in any weather condition.
Nike worked closely with US Soccer and the players throughout the design process, incorporating feedback from athletes to authentically represent the team’s identity.
Through a series of design workshops and listening sessions, Men’s National Team (USMNT) players provided input on everything from fabric weight to seam placement. Players also provided feedback on fit, mobility and breathability, helping Nike create jerseys designed to perform at their best under the high-intensity conditions expected during the summer’s World Cup.
A way for fans to show off their pride
By wearing the shield, fans across the country can support the teams that represent the United States on the world stage; a spirit that is reflected in US Soccer’s national campaign titled “Never Chase Reality,” which encourages players and fans alike to pursue their dreams, greatness and a legacy as the nation prepares to host the tournament.
The clothing launch campaign – developed in collaboration with M&C Saatchi North America – encourages all those who wear the crest to believe and play without limits, as expressed by national team player Diego Luna, in both English and Spanish.
To make the collection accessible and affordable for all fans, the jerseys are available in two versions. The authentic match jersey features the same high-performance technology used by players on the pitch, including Aero-FIT construction and a lightweight embossed silicone shield.
The “Stadium” jersey offers a looser fit and an embroidered crest at a more affordable price, giving every fan a way to represent the crest.

This campaign and launch also marks the widest apparel distribution and most intense promotion in US Soccer history.
Approximately 2,500 retail locations across the United States will carry the new jerseys, including stores such as Dick’s Sporting Goods, Rally House and Scheels, as well as online at Soccer.com and the official US Soccer store. This expansion of the distribution network ensures that more fans than ever can purchase the kits ahead of the FIFA Men’s World Cup 2026.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, US Soccer reinvests revenue generated from licensed merchandise into the sport itself, supporting its 27 National Teams, as well as coach education, referee development and grassroots soccer programs across the country.
To further celebrate this launch, Visa cardholders who purchase US Soccer 2026 kits at visa.store.ussoccer.com will receive free shipping for a limited time.
This offer is valid until April 1, 2026—or while supplies last—and applies exclusively to US Soccer jerseys from the 2026 collection purchased using a Visa card.
