Margarita Day is celebrated big in NYC
February 22, 2026

New York is preparing to toast National Margarita Day with irresistible specials, creative cocktails and flavors that go far beyond the classic lemon and tequila.

At Time Out Market Union Square, those who shop at the newly opened Tacos Fonda from February 20 to 22 will receive a free margarita at the bar when they show their digital receipt in the app. The concept, led by chef Roberto Santibañez, brings tacos, quesadillas and Mexico City-inspired flavors to the heart of Union Square.

At Lindens (2 Renwick St) and Foxtail inside Arlo Soho, the toast includes $12 Margaritas with rosemary and Cazadores Tequila and Margherita pizzas for $14. Lindens focuses on contemporary American cuisine with seasonal ingredients, while Foxtail offers a more intimate atmosphere and featured cocktails.

For its part, Reyna (11 E. 13th St) joins in with a Strawberry Honey Margarita ($22) inspired by the colors of Mardi Gras, combining golden honey, vibrant red berries and fresh lime for a sweet and citrus balance.

And for those looking for something out of the traditional, Seed Library (444 Park Ave South) presents the bold CREAM Margarita, with Lalo Tequila, mezcal, passion fruit, cream, pickled chili and lime – an intense blend of smoke, heat and freshness.

Whether classic, fruity or bold, this February 22 NYC has the perfect margarita for you. Health!
