Brentwood High School Students Flying with STEM

Brentwood High School freshman STEM students from Rocco Magaletto’s class traded the classroom for the cockpit during a recent visit to Long Island’s Cradle of Aviation Museum.

During the “Code-a-Drone” workshop, students not only flew drones, but also learned how to program them.

By combining math, science and technology, these students mastered the logic of lift, resistance and push to navigate complex obstacle courses.

It wasn’t just remote controls; it was about debugging flight paths and watching your code come to life in the air.
