6th students. Shaw Avenue school grade, located in the 30th district of Valley Stream, on Long Island, proudly celebrated an unforgettable experience in the Friendly Schools during their graduation ceremony to take the next step towards secondary education.
In an event held on June 24, students entered the auditorium of the school between a warm applause of their family, friends and teachers. District administrators and members of the Board of Education also attended the ceremony, where students performed several songs as part of the celebration.
The director Erin Malone recognized each student for all his achievements and emphasized the importance of finding a balance in his life.
He also urged them to be considered with others, faithful to themselves and to recognize their unique identity in the community.

In addition, the Superintendent of Schools of the 30th District of Valley Stream, Dr. Roxanne García-France, congratulated the students for completing their career in Shaw Avenue School and encouraged them to express their opinion, to be leaders already continue to grow.
The 30th district of Valley Stream looks forward to the way traveled by these students and wishes them luck and success in the secondary education stage.
