40th anniversary of Freeport Bible Center (1986-2026)… The house of God is celebrating

My name is Carlos Luis Vargas and I am the pastor of the Freeport Bible Center church. Also president of the apostolic network Centro Bíblico Internacional that has done missionary work in 20 nations of the world, bringing hope to communities and especially to children.

This month of October, from Friday the 23rd to Sunday the 25th we are celebrating and all of you, dear readers, are invited to this great spiritual party.

There are 40 years of community, missionary work and restoration of lives with verifiable testimonies. In the Bible, forties have a very special meaning for God and his children. Let’s see it in the life of Moses:

– 1st. Stage:

From birth to 40 years. Moses lived in Egypt as prince of Pharaoh’s kingdom for his first forty years. It was at the end of this period of life that he decided and preferred to participate in the afflictions of the Hebrew slaves rather than the joys of the palace and its corruption. Here forty tells us about maturity to choose the will of God over worldly pleasures, choosing the eternal over the fleeting.

– 2nd. Stage:

From 40-80 years old. Then Moses was forced to flee to the desert to save his life and lived another 40 years in anonymity, as a shepherd of sheep that were not even his own. It was at the end of this second period that God revealed Himself to him in the fire of the bush on the mountain that burned but did not burn. There God commissions him as his prophet and liberator of the nation of Israel that remained enslaved.

– 3rd. Stage:

God sends him again to Egypt but with his great power to free his people. Then, with the people liberated, he begins his third stage of his last 40 years until he dies at the age of 120. There ended his time and the reason why he was born on this earth.

Today we celebrate this 40th anniversary of Freeport Bible Center believing that we have chosen the challenges and struggles that serving God represent because we have our sights set, not on the earthly rewards and applause that Egypt can give us, but on the divine and eternal rewards.

I invite you to prefer the will of God over every worldly offer. Although many times we are not in the public arena and we are anonymous, although many consider what we do to be small or insignificant, God always has his eyes on us, he counts on you and me.

He has not changed his eternal purpose in you and he will fulfill it. Although time has caught up with us and youth has escaped us, we will not leave this land until we see the promised land.

These last forty years will be the most favorable, the most glorious, where we will see the fulfillment and greet it. Above all, we will have the satisfaction that we have led multitudes to freedom from sin, which is in Christ Jesus.

I hope to see you at our celebration and that you tell me that you read this note and have preferred to live what you need to achieve eternal reward.
